Well done Wally and all at ASMB who contributed to his first solo on 30/3. Great effort and what a neat looking circuit!!

ASMB conducted its first training course between 23 and 25 March.
​Mark took the students, Wally and James, (both paraglider instructors) through the GA training and James went solo at the end of the course.
Thanks to Mark, Craig, Ollie and Peter for their efforts. 

ASMB is now a gliding training club. Our operational safety audit (OSA) was conducted at the end of January, and we are now a position to conduct flight training, winch endorsements, AEI’s, etc.

ASMB hosted Gliding Club of Victoria between 22 and 25 August and what a great few days we had!
An even split of around 45 Winch and 45 Aerotows gave CV members a flavour of mountain flying. Beers and meals after the day's flying contributed to a terrific atmosphere.

ASMB hosted the Rockettes and Yes Girls Glide over the Australia Day long weekend
Mark and the crew had some terrific soaring over Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham, Mt Bogong and down the ridge toward Lake Hume. 
It was a great learning experience for all!

2 Flights, on Thursday by Mark - all points of the compass!

Over 15 launches - a mixture of winch and self launch. Good food and fun.
